DC PTA China in Action Programme— A Chinese Language Immersion Day Trip (Yr 9 & 10 Parents)

We are excited to introduce the PTA funded China in Action Programme, a range of day-trip immersion programmes aimed at bringing DC’s MYP Chinese Language curriculum to life in the most meaningful way possible: creating the opportunity for students to apply their language in an authentic context, by stepping across the border and into China itself. The PTA have kindly supported the programme's development, creating an enrichment experience only possible with our parents' support. Thank you!

WHAT IS CHINA IN ACTION?

China in Action is a series of carefully designed day trips to Zhuhai for Year 9 and Year 10 students. Each trip goes beyond what any tourist excursion would offer. It is a living classroom. Every activity is directly aligned with what students are studying in their current MYP units, so the learning that happens in Zhuhai is the same as the learning that happens in their lessons, just in real life.
