About the event
This workshop is designed to help parents of children in Years 3–6 explore ways to make reading at home fun, rewarding, and engaging. As children transition from learning to read to reading to learn, their reading habits and preferences begin to take shape. We will also focus on how to support the older reader where reading plays a critical role in developing vocabulary, critical thinking and a deeper understanding of texts.
