About the event
Targeted specifically towards parents of Year 12 and graduating Year 13 students, however all secondary year parents welcome. As Year 13 students move onto their next exciting life chapter, the HE Counsellors offer advice on how to ensure a smooth transition covering topics such as what happens on IB Results day, cultural adjustment, living independently on a budget, getting a visa, crime and safety etc. Year 12 students are also transitioning into their final year of high school and the HEO will explain what lies ahead in terms of getting prepared for life after school, covering topics such as university admissions, alternative pathways, timelines and deadlines, and how to make a competitive application.
