Overview
This programme offers students a unique opportunity to experience a powerful blend of China's past and future, providing a culturally rich backdrop for their design challenge to create inclusive technology.
The heart of the programme is a unique hands-on design sprint where students will apply Design Thinking and essential STEM skills (coding, Microbit, 3D printing) to collaboratively design and develop an innovative, inclusive sports game.
Students will live and work directly with athletes from the China National Goalball team at their Hangzhou Training Base, gaining profound empathy, real-world prototyping experience, and contributing directly to social inclusion.
The week culminates in an Exhibition Day and includes an immersive cultural experience exploring the iconic attractions of Hangzhou and one day trip to the dynamic, modern atmosphere of Shanghai.
