Overview
The week is about preparing our students to life after school. Taking place at the Hong Kong Culinary Academy, students will learn a few "cheat codes" for independence. The week covers a range of activities from kitchen skills, nutrition, wet market shopping to simple home maintenance and laundry.
Complimenting the food related subjects in school and whether students head off to university, this experiental learning week is will give our students the skills boost to life beyond school, and perhaps to eat significantly better than depending on general take-outs.
Highlights
Master global, yet simple dishes from France, Italy, and the Mediterranean.
Life hacks in the form of organising laundry, and simple home maintenance.
Wet Market Mastery: Learn to shop for the best prices, within budget, and identify fresh ingredients.
Finish the week with better confidence to live on your own.
Itinerary
All of the experience is based in HK and day activities only (no overnight stays).
The activity will be taking place at Hong Kong Culinary Academy and wet market for shopping experience.
In the spirit of independence, students will meet and dismiss from the Hong Kong Culinary Academy. Students are encouraged to arrange themselves for their travel in pairs or in small groups.
