Music

Discovery College offers students a wide range of opportunities to engage in music making for all levels of experience. Our choral and instrumental ensembles rehearse weekly and perform regularly at College assemblies and concerts. The annual concert schedule includes formal evening concerts as well as informal and fun performances held throughout the academic year.

Facilities

The music department provides excellent facilities to support student-directed bands and individual practice. Our recording studio and music technology hardware are available for students to record and produce music, both for curriculum-based projects and student-led initiatives.

Instrumental Music programme

The College's extensive instrumental music programme offers students access to lessons from experienced, high-quality peripatetic teachers at a competitive rate. A selection of Instruments are available to be checked out for the academic year for students involved in our instrumental music programme. Due to high demand, families are encouraged to enrol early.
