Hong Kong Art Tutoring offers weeklong service activity courses. We design service opportunities where students work collaboratively with Hong Kong community-based NGO charities. All courses are differentiated and suitable for all ages, abilities and experiences, and will be designed specifically for you.
Love 21 is a charity empowering the Down syndrome and autistic community in Hong Kong through holistic support programmes. It is also the sister charity of ImpactHK.
Overview
Highlights
HKAT will facilitate a weeklong service project which could involve learning different art techniques to teach the members of Love21. With the members, your students could make things such as Christmas cards, wrapping paper, mosaic jewellery boxes and a range of other creative products that Love 21 can sell for further fundraising. Other activities could include students designing, preparing and painting a series of large murals in Love 21’s headquarters.
Itinerary
This experience will be based in HK and consists of day activities - no overnight stays.
Estimated Cost
$2500
The programme fees are subject to price fluctuations involving currency, transportation costs, the number of students signing up, and activity costs. We aim to manage the cost of this trip/activity effectively, and we will re-adjust/re-calculate the cost prior to the final payment in Aug/Sep 2024.
