About the event
Routines are consistently found to be important for children as it is for adults. Routines have been linked to the development of social skills and academic success, and adherence to family routines has been identified as important for family resilience during times of crisis. However, including your child on building what their routines and day looks like is important, being able to add things that they enjoy as well as their must-do’s makes them take ownership and responsibility around their routines and daily expectations.
How do we do this? Helpers will receive support and guidance on how to build those routines side by side with the child that they take care of no matter their age.
