About the event
Want to learn to say no without feeling guilty and set healthy boundaries at home without any remorse? Learning how to say no and being able to walk away from it is not an easy job; it requires practice and consistency.
Setting boundaries and saying no helps children feel safe and secure. It gives them direction and helps them guide their behaviour.
Boundaries are personal limits that define what we are willing to accept and what we are not. They set the parameters of our physical and emotional space, protecting our mental health and wellbeing. They can take many forms, including saying no to unreasonable demands, limiting time spent outside, or setting aside time for responsibilities. In essence, boundaries help us create a healthy balance between our personal needs and the demands of the outside world.
In this workshop we will learn how to say no, deal with our guilt, and establish limits that are essential for maintaining a healthy and fulfilling life in a world where it is common to say yes.
