Overview
This week focuses on adventure and community service, offering students a unique opportunity to engage in both activities across a three-day, two-night (3D2N) overnight experience and two days of community engagement activities without overnight stays.
During the 3D2N overnight experience, students will sleep in tents and learn essential skills such as setting up and taking down their tents under the guidance of a trained coach. The program includes a comprehensive Leave-No-Trace (LNT) workshop, teaching students how to apply these important principles while being active in hiking, gorge walking, and coasteering activity.
Following the overnight adventure, students will participate in two days of daytime community service projects that allow them to give back to their communities. To promote student agency, the itinerary will be flexible, enabling students to share their ideas and have a voice in shaping the experience alongside the trip leader. This combination of adventure and service aims to enrich students' learning and foster personal growth.
