Overview
Students have the opportunity to learn about permaculture from leaders in this community and observe organic sustainable farming principles in practice. Through observing real life examples of solutions, students will learn more in depth about the importance of sustainability and explore ways to continue this relationship in a long-term meaningful way.
Opportunities to explore the beautifully preserved and cultural city of Chiang Mai, with the stunning ancient temples, delicious food and adventurous activities in the region.
Highlights
Support and experience the work in local organic farms who are known for their seed collection work.
Learn about multi-cropping and participate in a variety of permaculture activities including making our own kombucha and natural yoghurts
Cultural immersion through spending time with local communities and sharing local food, performances and stories with them
Opportunities to experience new environmental techniques such as creating ‘seed-bombs’ and slinging them around the jungle in Thai sling shots as a new innovative way to regenerate new vegetation
Trekking and exploring opportunities involving rivers, caves, jungle and waterfall experiences
