What you'll do and see
Established in Guilin in 2021, the Xiaoqing Song Children’s Growth Promotion Center (小青松儿童成长促进中心) provides support services to Guangxi-based youth with special learning needs such as autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental delays.
Specific services include language and behavior rehabilitation, psychological counseling, and family training.
The center aims to provide children with a specialized education not provided in typical classroom settings in order to help them effectively integrate into society.
Support through developing and donating teaching materials, classroom aids, technology resources, books, and additional student resources
Engage as teaching assistants to support language learning and social competencies among students
Design and facilitate activities, such as sports and arts-and-crafts
Foster ambitions for continued education among youth and families
Explore the natural landscapes of Guangxi through trekking excursions
Immerse in the Mandarin language and build connections with Chinese community members

Breezy clothes and layers (average November temperatures in Guangxi range from 10 °C to 18 °C, so please be sure to pack layers and warm clothes accordingly)
